After two incredible, unexpected and sadly isolated years , the turning point seems to have really come, we want and must return to normal and get back to being close and together!
Rimini is ready to host but above all to celebrate our Alpine troops ! You have always been fundamental, but in these two years you have proved to be heroes, as our parents or grandparents described you .
The first gathering dates back to exactly a century ago and was repeated every year with a pause during the Second World War (for obvious reasons) and during the pandemic. Every year the Alpine troops gather to remember the thousands who died during the battle of Mount Ortigara and the First World War in general. The gathering of the Alpine troops is one of the most beautiful, colorful and characteristic social events in our beautiful country.
From 6 to 8 May the only motto that will be heard in Rimini will be " READY FOR ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS! ". More than 1.2 million presences are estimated and it is expected to sell out both in hotels and restaurants , but here in Romagna we are always ready to welcome tourists and this number does not scare us at all!
