Sunday 30th July appointment with the Circolo diportisti di Bellaria Igea Marina which dedicates a day to raising awareness on environmental pollution .
The goal is to preserve marine ecosystems and prevent the dangerous accumulation of waste in our sea.
The day includes a trip to the sea with yachtsmen's boats for the search and recovery of floating waste (such as plastic, wood and fishing waste), with the support of the divers who will participate in the event.
You will be able to have a new experience, have a different point of view of our sea , not only the place to build sand castles on the beach, sunbathe lying on a lounger, but discover how much life there is below the horizon and how much our every behavior has an impact on the environment and for all life forms that surround us. Did you know, for example, that microplastics invisible to us are mistaken by fish as "jelly" and that they will end up on our plate no matter what, and it has been calculated that on average per month we eat a total of as much plastic as needed to produce a credit card?
It has always been known, nothing disappears in nature and everything is transformed, you could find a plastic candy wrapper after years by eating sea bass, have you ever thought about it?
From now on, therefore, even if you find a tiny piece of plastic on the ground, pick it up, because you know that otherwise it will become food for some animals, such as man...
