A summer evening of music, memories, and graffiti: Sunday, July 13th at the Roma Colony.
Published the 09 July 2025

There is something magical about certain places.

Even if time has faded them, even if the windows are broken and the walls peeling, a sound, a smell, a particular light at sunset is enough to bring them back to life .
This is exactly what will happen on Sunday, July 13th : for one evening, the Colonia Roma in Bellaria Igea Marina will reopen its gates and be filled with music, urban art, games, street food, and smiles.

FLOTTAGEDDON IN COLOGNE is the name of this special day:
A free event that, starting at 5:00 PM , will transform the old colony into a vibrant place, full of energy and memory.
DJ set under the pine trees , live graffiti on time-worn walls , craft markets , fresh beers, good food and laughter until the evening.
It will be the perfect place for those who love outdoor parties, for those seeking new emotions, and for those who want to get back to that scent of true summer, the kind that tastes of freedom and bare feet.

Once upon a time… and still is

Carlo was 10 years old when he first set foot in Colonia Roma. It was the summer of 1984, he wore a striped T-shirt, plastic sandals, and a mad desire to see the sea. His father, a train worker at Rome Termini, had enrolled him as was the custom back then: weeks of summer camp, dormitories with bunk beds, regular bathing hours, and long days at the beach and in the park.

In the 1990s, Colonia Roma closed , but Carlo never stopped coming to Bellaria Igea Marina. He continued to come every summer, with friends from back then, then with his partner, and now with his son.
Because certain places stay with you, like the smell of the sea on your clothes and the sound of cicadas on August evenings .

On Sunday, Carlo will cross that gate again , and it will be moving to watch his son's (or grandson's) eyes shine as he tells him where they slept, where they played football, where the queue for the evening cinema was.
A dive into the past amidst music, street art, and the scent of piadina, to discover that some places never truly die.

Don't miss this summer evening

If you too want to be thrilled, discover a corner of history and experience a party like those of the past, we look forward to seeing you at Colonia Roma on Sunday 13 July .

BOOK YOUR MOMENT OF PEACE
